Little Elephant is a film about love over three generations. Rahila, a lesbian mum reflects on her severed relationship with her dad. Elsewhere a father, Ravinder reminisces about the things he used to do with his daughter. The film ends with Rahila anticipating introducing her daughter to her (grand)dad.

Kate Jessop
is an award-winning animation filmmaker whose work spans across animated shorts, promos and artist’s film and video. She has exhibited extensively internationally, undertaking artist residencies in Berlin, Reykjavik and Manchester Metropolitan University. In 2008 she won the Femme Fantastique Award at the London Short Film Festival and was selected for the “WIFT international touring program showcasing new female filmmaking talent”.
Her film Desires was shortlisted for the 2008 Virgin Media Shorts prize, touring 212 independent UK cinemas. She is also involved with education and film programming, and is one of the cofounders of “Girls on Film”, working on events for a number of festivals.
