Victor likes to experiment with his gender. He doesn't know if he feels like a boy or a girl. He lives in a small seaside village in Almeria with his mother Mari Angeles and his girlfriend Rahma. Once in the town, protected by anonymity, he discovers himself. But secrets do not last forever, and Victor will have to face his mother and girlfriend in order to stand up for the real image reflected in his mirror.

Ian Garrido López
was born in Granada in 1988. In 2014, while he was attending Cinema Studies at the ESCAC of Barcelona, he decided to have gender reassignment surgery. He tells about this transition in his two thesis films: the pilot episode of the TV series Queer and the short Victor XX, which won the third prize of the Cinéfondation at Cannes in 2015. In this film, he tries to overcome the prejudice surrounding gender transition, something that he has experienced himself.
